Poetry as Inspiration: A Writing Workshop In-Person

Are you an aspiring writer looking for inspiration, ideas and a way to get started on your writing journey? Join teacher, writer and prize winning poet, Anita Pappas-Raposa for an evening of poetry as inspiration. Participants will read and react to various poetry, using the works as prompts to begin a piece of original writing. Anita will guide the group through short writing exercises that may serve journal entries, new poems or a beginning piece of writing. Writers will be given the opportunity to share what they've written and respond to each other. If you are looking for a way to get your voice out into the world, sign up for this workshop today! Please bring a notebook, writing tool and an open imagination with you for this program. Celebrate National Poetry Month by getting creative with your own writing!
