MAKE A MOSAIC TILE FOR THE NE MOSAIC - For Grades K-8
Tues. April 22nd from 2:30-5:30pm - Registration is required
Agawam Public Library is partnering with the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans to invite students in grades K-8 to decorate a tile for the 2025 New England Mosaic. The completed and assembled Mosaic will be showcased at the Agawam Community Artists & Artisans' Pioneer Valley Art Festival on August 23-24. The library will provide a range of materials including: paint, markers, buttons, cloth, glue, and more. Artists can use the art supplies at the library or could bring in their own art supplies to use. If you don't finish you're project while you're here you can take it home to finish, but you have to return it by May 15th.
The tiles will be then be sold by the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans and can be picked up after the Art Festival in August. The money that is raised will be used to fund scholarships for high school seniors.
