What better way to kick off the new year than by participating in Agawam Public Library's 2025 Winter Reading Challenge? Log your reading, write book reviews, and contribute to our Community Reading Goal to earn raffle tickets that can be entered to win one of our five grand prizes! Prizes include a cozy reading basket, a DIY book nook kit, a wood whittling for beginners kit, and more!

Participants will have the opportunity to earn up to 31 raffle tickets this winter: 

-1 raffle ticket for registering

-1 raffle ticket for each hour you log (up to 20 tickets)

-1 raffle ticket for every book review you write (up to 5 tickets)

-5 raffle tickets for completing the challenge!

We’ve also challenged the Agawam community to read 1,000 hours, and every hour you log during this reading challenge will help us reach our goal! We’ll be measuring the different milestones we reach by building a “snowman” inside the library, so be sure to stop by throughout the challenge to see our progress.
